"Do I weigh 20 pounds yet?" Larsen asks Leilani as he gets weighed before his surgery. |
Lukas bribes Leilani, "If I turn on the charm, will you promise not to give me a shot?" |
Four rowdy pups and a partridge in a pear tree. . . . |

"Hey, I like being above my brothers!" Luis gleams. "Listen, though. We didn't get to eat breakfast. So do you mind if I borrow your ink pen?" |
"I like my necklace," L. B. says, "but it would be better in gold!" |
"If Luis gets an ink pen, I get the beautiful rug," Larsen proclaims. |

"Where's an engineer when you need one?" Lucy asks. |
"All working dogs need a job," Lucy informs. "I'm a biscuit bobby." |
"Uh-oh," Lucy says, "I wonder what life will be like if I can't get my head out of this jug." |

"Am I not the cutest little princess you have ever seen in your life?" Lucy asks. |
"Sit! Stay!" Lucy tells the stuffie. "You're the best kind of pet!" |
"Every girl needs jewelry," informs Lucy, "even if the necklace is five times too big." |
|
|
|
|
"What do you mean I don't have it on correctly?" Lucy asks. |
"I have my big girl collar now. I'm ready!" Lucy claims as she springs into action. |
"I'm all grown up," Lucy says, as she wears the Big Dog collar and eats a Big Dog biscuit. |

"I like that flavor," Lucy tells Brandi. "Mind sharing?" |
"This thing known as tail is really tasty," Lucy notes, "but why can't I pull it away from that leg?" |
"I need a nap. That tail pulling was hard work," moans Lucy. |
|
|
|
|
"Whoa," halts Lucy. "Am I going to have that many teeth one day?"
|
"I think we'll pull that one right there, Kirzinger," says Lucy, the dentist-wannabe. |
"On second thought," Lucy adds, "this one over here looks more ripe." |

Donald carries two sacks of flour, named Luis & Lukas, as they return back to the foster home after surgery. |
And the other two, L. B. & Larsen, after the surgery. |
"Don't you think this blue disc looks like a Renaissance collar?" Lukas asks Donald. "In the old days, they called them ruff collars. So that name fits!" |

Larsen asks Donald, "Do you think the men in the white suits are here for you?" |
"Hey, we witnessed surgeries today. Since we have experience, let us perform one on you!" |
"Hey, Luis," Larsen says, "we have wings of a sort. Let's try to fly." |

"How can you fuss at something this cute," Lukas wants to know, "while I take a chunk out of my brother?" |

L. B. is obviously thrilled (NOT!) with his new attire. |
Can you tell Lukas had surgery today? |
