America's Beloved Heroes

ANCHUNDIA was named after JOSEPH PETER ANCHUNDIA, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Joseph Anchundia of New York, New York, age 26, was an investment banker with Sandler O'Neill at the World Trade Center, Tower 2, 104th floor when he lost his life. Known for being sweet and happy, Mr. Anchundia was known as a mama's boy. Mr. Anchundia was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back and could quickly pull anyone out of sadness. He also had the same two best friends throughout his life. One of the two perished in the Towers also. The third of the trio noted they were supposed to grow old together. A member of the Delta Beta Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, Mr. Anchundia is a graduate of Longwood University. Mr. Anchundia is survived by his parents. We salute Mr. Anchundia, a hero, and name this handsome dog in his honor.
