ARENA
was named for LOUIS ARENA, who paid the ultimate price in the attack
on America September 11, 2001. Firefighter
Louis Arena, 32, New York, New York, was a firefighter with the FDNY.
Six years as a firefighter with Ladder
5, he and his wife, an EMT, both helped at the World Trade Center that fateful day. Firefighter Arena was the type of person who was forever helping others and put his own needs last. For example, when he was 3 years old, his sister said she was hungry. So he walked down to the store, got a loaf of bread, walked out of the store, came home, and gave his sister the bread. So it was a lifelong trait.
Firefighter Arena is survived by his wife, Wanda, and children Nina and Joseph (then 4 & 3). Pet Harbor
salutes Firefighter Arena, a hero, and names this cutie pie in his honor. (Source: New York Times 12/13/01)
