ARMSTRONG was named for MICHAEL JOSEPH ARMSTRONG, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Michael J. Armstrong, age 34, Manhattan, New York, was employed as a vice president of sales at Cantor Fitzgerald and lost his life in the World Trade Center. Bicycle riding something he enjoyed, Mr. Armstrong was more noted for his love of his hometown, New York. He is survived by his parents, fiancee, and a host of family, but he seemed to have a profound impact on the underdogs he encountered in life as well. We salute Mr. Armstrong, a hero, and name this majestic fellow in his honor. (Source: Newsday 10/11/01, The New York Times 2/3/02)
