America's Beloved Heroes

AUDI was named after JAMES AUDIFFRED, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. James Audiffred of New York, New York, age 38, was employed in a janitorial capacity and elevator starter with ABM Industries at the World Trade Center. Mr. Audiffred was murdered at Tower 1, 83rd floor that fateful day. Because of a fascination with lighthouses, especially Maine lighthouses, Mr. Audiffred studied their architecture and history. Mr. Audiffred, who goes by the name Jimmy, packed his family into a rented van to visit a lighthouse in Maine, which he enjoyed with childlike excitement. Mr. Audiffred is survived by his wife, Robin; and son. We salute Mr. Audiffred, a hero, and name this cute dog in his honor.
