America's Beloved Heroes

CASORI was named for THOMAS ANTHONY CASORIA, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Thomas ("Tommy") Anthony Casoria, 29, New York, New York, a firefighter with ladder 13 of engine 22 of the Fire Department of New York, lost his life at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Just a firefighter for three years, Firefighter Casoria had waited five years to become a firefighter. A strong man, he was an athlete in school. Having been engaged 11 months, he lost his life one month shy of his wedding. Firefighter Casoria's brother is also a firefighter. Firefighter Casoria is survived by his parents, Carlo and Judy; and fiancee, Terry. We salute Firefighter Casoria, a hero, and name this handsome dog in his honor.
