America's Beloved Heroes

CATHY was named for CATHERINE T. SMITH, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Cathy Smith, age 44, West Haverstraw, New York, was employed as a division vice president by Marsh and McLennan, and worked on the 96th floor of Tower One of the World Trade Center. She had a lifetime hobby: collecting baseball cards. Ms. Smith is survived by her family; partner, Elba; and unfulfilled dreams. Born November 22, 1956, Ms. Smith was known for her laughter and her friendship. We salute Ms. Smith, a hero, and name this beautiful kitten in her honor.
