America's Beloved Heroes

CESTA was named for JONI CESTA, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Joni Cesta, age 37, Bellmore, New York, was in-house counsel with A. L. Sarroff Co. She was a 1985 graduate of Cornell University and 1991 graduate of Hofstra Law School. She was at the World Trade Center on business when she lost her life on September 11. Known for her intelligence and charm, Ms. Cesta loved jewelry, traveling, and animals. Our kind of person, she adopted birds, dogs, and snakes as pets. In college, she was on the equestrian team. Ms. Cesta is survived by her husband, Adam Kriftcher. We salute Ms. Cesta, a hero, and name this sweet kitty in her honor.
