CHELA was named for ARCELIA "CHELA" CASTILLO, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Chela Castillo, age 49, Elizabeth, New Jersey, was born in Colombia. She came to the United States in 1972. Employed by Marsh and McLennan as a junior accountant, Ms. Castillo worked in the World Trade Center on the 98th floor in the north tower. A hard-working woman, she raised her two children alone and taught herself English and accounting courses among many other things. At the time of her death, she was a few courses away from an Associate's degree in accounting at Union County College in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She leaves behind her companion Ed; sons Silvio and Anthony; and grandchildren Brittany, Breanna, Bianca, and Brandon. We salute Ms. Castillo, a hero, and name this doll in her honor.
