CHERYLE was named for CHERYLE D. SINCOCK, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Cheryle Sincock, 53, Dale City, Virginia, an administrative assistant with the U.S. Army working in the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management at the Pentagon, was eligible for retirement but enjoyed working. Cheryle collected dolls and other toys for her six grandchildren. A beautiful tribute to her memory, one of our board members sees a pickup truck in the neighborhood professionally painted in our American colors to honor Ms. Sincock. She lost her life at the Pentagon. We salute Mrs. Sincock, a hero, and name this precious dog in her honor. (Source: U. S. Army, Potomac News, Washington Post)
