CINDY was named for YAN ZHU ("CINDY") GUAN, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Cindy Guan, age 25, New York, New York, was employed as an auditor with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. She lost her life on a World Trade Center elevator that was stuck on the 12th floor. A 1999 graduate of The State University of New York at Geneseo, she is survived by her husband Edwin Yuen. We salute Ms. Guan, a hero, and name this cute puppy in her honor.
