CRISCI was named for LIEUTENANT JOHN A. CRISCI, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. John Crisci, age 48, Holbrook, New York, was a firefighter, a lieutenant, with Haz-Mat Company #1 for the Fire Department of New York. He enjoyed backyard grilling, ribs his specialty, and painting and fixing things around the house. The night Lieutenant Crisci's life ended he was on his way home after work when he heard the alarm and turned around and went back to work. He is survived by his wife, Raffaella, and his three teenage sons: John, Michael, and Joey. Lieutenant Crisci was laid to rest on September 28, 2001. We salute Mr. Crisci, a hero, and name this cute puppy in his honor. (Source: Newsday 10/3/01, Queens Tribune)
