CRISTINA was named for CRISTINA de LAURA, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Cristina de Laura, Colombia, lost her life at the World Trade Center. Her husband, Oscar de Laura, also lost his life that fateful day. We salute Ms. de Laura, a hero, and name this sweet dog in her honor.
