DICKENS was named for RODNEY DICKENS , who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Rodney Dickens, age 11, from Washington, D.C., was aboard American Airlines flight 77 when terrorists crashed it into the Pentagon. Rodney, an elementary school student, enjoyed professional wrestling on television, reading, computer games, and his family. He excelled in school. In fact, he was on the flight going to a National Geographic Society workshop. He is survived by his mother, LaShawn, two sisters, and two brothers. We salute young Master Dickens, a hero, and name this young puppy in his honor. (Source: The Washington Post, National Geographic)
