ELSY was named for ELSY CAROLINA OSORIO-OLIVA, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Elsy Carolina Osorio-Oliva, age 27, Queens, New York, was employed by General Telecom as a junior translation engineer and worked on the 83rd floor of the World Trade Center Tower One on that horrible day in September of 2001 when she tragically lost her life. Ms. Osorio-Oliva, who was called Carol, came to the United States from El Salvador as a child in 1983. She most enjoyed caring for her younger siblings, dancing, and friends. A graduate of Queensborough Community College, Ms. Osorio-Oliva is survived by her parents; her siblings; and her fiance, Jose. We salute Ms. Osorio-Oliva, a hero, and name this young pup in her honor.
