America's Beloved Heroes

GALLAGHER was named for ANTHONY EDWARD GALLAGHER, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Anthony Gallagher, age 41, New York, New York, was an energy broker with Cantor Fitzgerald and worked in the World Trade Center. Mr. Gallagher didn't have a chance to be a dad. Having been married only the year prior, he was the kind of guy who asked his nieces and nephews if it was okay with them if he got married. He called them religiously every Friday afternoon. Now because of a horrible, senseless act of terrorism on our country, those children don't have their uncle's calls. A memorial was held for Mr. Gallagher on September 20, 2001 at St Patrick's Church in Bay Shore, New York. Pet Harbor salutes Mr. Gallagher, a hero, and names this handsome dog in his honor.
