America's Beloved Heroes

HANNA was named for THOMAS HANNAFIN, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Mr. Hannafin, age 36, New York, New York, was a firefighter with Ladder 5 of the Fire Department of New York, having followed his brother into service as a firefighter. In the line of duty, Firefighter Hannafin lost his life when terrorists destroyed the World Trade Center. A graduate of the College of Staten Island, he enjoyed athletics and traveling. Mr. Hannafin is survived by his wife, Rene; his young children, Thomas and Kayla; and several brothers. his wife. Pet Harbor salutes Mr. Hannafin, a hero, and names this beautiful dog in his honor.
