HOPE was named after AMY HOPE LAMONSOFF, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001.
Amy Hope Lamonsoff of New York, New York, age 29, was Events Manager, North America for Risk Waters Group and lost her life at the World Trade Center, Tower 1 on the 106th floor, Windows of the World, where she was for a meeting. The most important thing to her was the people in her life. In her job, she was a perfectionist, but what everyone misses at her job is Ms. Lamonsoff's larger than life smile. She was a charitable person who enjoyed traveling, reading, and was vocal about politics. True to the gorgeous dog we have named for Ms. Lamonsoff, Ms. Lamonsoff loved dogs and would walk out of her way in the hopes of being able to pet dogs she knew. We salute Ms. Lamonsoff, a hero, and name this lovely dog in her honor. (Source: Risk Waters Group)
