HOWARD was named for HOWARD LEE KANE, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Howard Kane, age 40, Hazlet, New JerseyNew York, New York, was employed as a comptroller by Windows on the World, a job he loved. He lost his life in the September 11, 2001 attack on America. Windows on the World was the restaurant atop Tower 1 of the World Trade Center. Mr. Kane called the view from his job "halfway to heaven." His Sunday mornings were father-son time. Mr. Kane is survived by his wife, Lori; and son, Jason. We salute Mr. Kane, a hero, and name this handsome Siberian Husky in his honor.
