JOEY was named for FIREFIGHTER JOSEPH PATRICK HENRY, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Firefighter Joseph Patrick Henry, 25, New York, New York, was a firefighter with the FDNY. He lost his life at the World Trade Center, Tower Two while on duty. Firefighter Henry was with the department only 11 months, but he came from a family of firefighters. Affectionately known as Joey, he was a lot of fun, including achieving the status of the family clown. His long-time girlfriend, Julia, said he was "the first to arrive at a party and the last one to leave." Firefighter Henry enjoyed playing baseball and watching the New York Yankees. Certified as an EMT also, he was a firefighter with Ladder 21. In addition to Julia, Firefighter Henry is survived by his parents, Edward and Alice; brothers Eddie, Michael, and Danny; and sisters Mary and Kathleen. His memorial service was held on October 5, 2001. Pet Harbor salutes Firefighter Henry, a hero, and names this handsome dog in his honor.
