KERMIT was named for KERMIT CHARLES ANDERSON, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Kermit Charles Anderson, age 57, Green Brook, New Jersey, was employed as an information technology systems analyst by Marsh and McLennan and had achieved the rank of vice president of the company, located on the 97th floor of World Trade Center Tower One. A 1965 graduate of Penn State University, Mr. Anderson earned a degree in mathematics. He enjoyed golfing, reading, hiking, and Penn State football. He was a member and officer of the First Presbyterian Church of Dunellen. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Jill; two children, Barbara and Deborah; and two grandchildren, William and Noah. His second grandchild was born 9/13/01. We salute Mr. Anderson, a hero, and name this handsome boy in his honor. (Source: South Florida Sun-Sentinel 9/19/01, Chicago Tribune 10/28/01)
