KING was named for ROBERT KING JR., who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Firefighter Robert King, age 36, Bellerose Terrace, New York, was a firefighter with the Fire Department of New York, FDNY, where he was working when he lost his life in the tragedy of September 11, 2001. Firefighter King studied firefighting academy manuals during his honeymoon. Besides fighting fires, he enjoyed woodworking. His fire station eats off a table he made. He made jewelry boxes, cabinets, tables, chest, toys, all sorts of wooden crafted items.Firefighter King was assigned to engine 33 and was laid to rest on February 2, 2002. Firefighter King is survived by his wife, Theresa; and three young children, Thomas, Elizabeth, and Stephen. Pet Harbor salutes Firefighter King, a hero, and names this gorgeous Siberian Husky in his honor.
