KIP was named for LT. COL. KIP PAUL TAYLOR, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Colonel Taylor, age 38, a member of the United States Army from Michigan, residing in McLean, Virginia, was assigned to the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel. Very tall, he was a career military man. Colonel Kip Taylor lost his life at the Pentagon, leaving behind his wife, Nancy; young son, Dean; and baby, Luke, born after Colonel Taylor's death. We salute Colonel Taylor, a hero, and name this special pup in his honor.
