KIRBY was named for CHRIS MICHAEL KIRBY, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. CHRIS MICHAEL KIRBY, age 21, New York, New York, a carpenter, lost his life in the World Trade Center's Tower 2. A carpenter by day and firefighting student (to follow in his father's footsteps) by night, he was known for always wanting to help people and for his happy-go-lucky nature, hence his nickname Happy. A mass was held in his honor on November 10, 2001. He is survived by his parents, Mickey and Donna. We salute Mr. Kirby, a hero, and name this handsome kitten in his honor.
