KITTLE was named for HELEN CROSSIN-KITTLE, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Helen Crossin-Kittle, age 34, Larchmont, New York, a newlywed, was expecting her first child at the time of her death, which her husband found out the Monday following September 11 was to be a girl. Employed by eSpeed, a division of Cantor Fitzgerald as a computer networking specialist, she worked on the 103rd floor of the World Trade Center. A 1989 graduate of Xavier University, Mrs. Crossin-Kittle loved children and computers. She also enjoyed playing softball. She is survived by her husband of five months, Kevin. We salute Mrs. Crossin-Kittle, a hero, and name this little kitten in her honor. (Source: Hartford Courant 11/20/01, CNN 3/8/02)
