America's Beloved Heroes

KOBUS was named for DEBORAH KOBUS, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. DEBORAH KOBUS, age 36, New York, New York, was employed as Assistant Vice President, Chuo Mitsui Trust and Banking Company, where she worked on the 83rd floor of World Trade Center Tower Two, where she was working when on September 11, 2001 she tragically lost her life. Ms. Kobus enjoyed traveling, skiing, and was able to turn challenges around without skipping a beat. Ms. Kobus volunteered at many activities, including Canine Sanctuary. Ms. Kobus is survived by her mother, Lottie; brother, Robert; fiance, Alexander; and German Sepherd Dog-Keeshond mix, Buster. She had adopted Buster from a kill shelter. We salute Ms. Kobus, a hero, and name this handsome dog in his honor.
