LAKE was named for WILLIAM DAVID LAKE, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Pet Harbor thinks it's quite appropriate to name this young lady after William David Lake. Firefighter Lake with Rescue 2, New York City Fire Department, in the line of duty rescued many animals, including resuscitating a dog he pulled out of a frozen lake. A Harley-Davidson fan, Firefighter Lake was laid to rest on October 13, 2001. Billy Lake leaves behind his wife and 7-year-old son. Pet Harbor salutes Mr. Lake, a hero, and names young lady in his honor.
