America's Beloved Heroes

LeBLANC was named for ROBERT GEORGE LeBLANC, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Robert LeBlanc, age 70, Lee, New Hampshire, was professor emeritus at the University of New Hampshire in geography and was traveling on United Airlines flight 175 on September 11, 2001 to attend a geography conference on the West Coast, when his life was tragically ended by terrorists as the plane hit the World Trade Center. The son of French immigrants, Professor LeBlanc was a 1959 graduate of the University of New Hampshire. Professor LeBlanc is survived by his wife, Andrea; 5 children, Carolyn, Paul, John, Nissa, and Kjel; and 2 grandchildren, Robert and Kia. Professor LeBlanc enjoyed traveling around the world and cooking, often for guests. Pet Harbor salutes Professor LeBlanc, a hero, and names this handsome husky in his honor.
