America's Beloved Heroes

MONTGOMERY was named for MONTGOMERY McCULLOUGH HORD, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Montgomery Hord, 46, Pelham, New York, was employed as a Vice President and Partner at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he was working in the World Trade Center on that tragic day. Mr. Hord was a jokester. He also had a heart of gold and had a genuine interest in people that made other people feel like they were important to him. A Nebraska native transplanted in the big city, he maintained his down-to-earth Nebraska persona. He called his father-in-law on military-related holidays to thank him for his military service to our country. He naturally volunteered for various charity efforts. Mr. Hord leaves behind his wife, Lisa, and 3 young children: Molly, Sophie, & Jackson We salute Mr. Hord, a hero, and name this handsome kitty in his honor.
