America's Beloved Heroes

MOROCHO was named for LEONEL GERONIMO MOROCHO, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Leonel Morocho, age 36, New York, New York, a native of Ecuador, a Windows on the World sous-chef, perished in the September 11 attack on America. Windows on the World was the restaurant atop Tower 1 of the World Trade Center. His sister perished along with him. Mr. Morocho was more than the family's breadwinner. He did all the motherly duties as well. He took his daughters to the park and did the grocery shopping. Mr. Morocho is survived by his wife, Marta; and daughters, Monica, 14; Sandra, 12; Beatriz, 8; Maribel, 7; and Vanessa, 5. We salute Mr. Morocho, a hero, and name this sweet dog in his honor.
