America's Beloved Heroes

MORRIS was named for LYNNE IRENE MORRIS, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Lynne Irene Morris, age 22, Monroe, New York, was employed as a P&S Clerk in the Equities Department of Cantor Fitzgerald, located in the World Trade Center on the 101st Floor of Tower I. Ms. Morris had lots of friends and served as the adviser and helper for them. Even the Morris family cat, Speck, loved to follow her around. A shy youngster, Ms. Morris grew into a person whose descriptions include infectious smiles and laughter and daily random acts of kindness. A 2000 graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta, she earned a degree in business administration. We salute Ms. Morris, a hero. Ms. Morris was a cat person, and we name this cat-friendly dog in her honor.
