NICKIE was named for NICKIE L. LINDO, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Nickie Lindo, age 31, Brooklyn, New York, lost her life at the World Trade Center. We can't find much information about Ms. Lindo except that she was married to Derrick and had two children, a wife and mother zapped from life and her family. That says too much already. Ms. Lindo was a financial analyst who lost her life at the World Trade Center. We salute Ms. Lindo, a hero, and name this gorgeous pup in her honor.
