PAULINE was named after PAULINE TULL-FRANCIS, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Pauline Tull-Francis of New York, New York, age 57, was employed as a food service handler by Forte Food Service at the World Trade Center, where she lost her life.
Known for her singing voice, her dance moves, and food, Ms. Tull-Francis was also called Mama P. She sang in her church. She danced at family gatherings. But for the food aspect, that was everywhere. She always wanted to feed everybody. "She hated to see people go hungry." Her personality touched so many people, a 9/11 widow wrote her family after the tragedy to tell them how her husband spoke so highly of Ms. Tull-Francis. A native of Barbados, Ms. Tull-Francis lived in Brooklyn with her family.
Ms. Tull-Francis is survived by her husband, four adult children, and five grandchildren.
We salute Ms. Tull-Francis, a hero, and name this awesome dog in her honor. (Source: New York Times 11/08/01)
