QUINN was named for RICARDO QUINN, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Ricardo Quinn, 40, Bayside, New York, was off duty but worked as a paramedic for the New York City Fire Department and felt compelled to help when the planes struck the World Trade Center towers. He was in the lobby of the South Tower when it collapsed. A sand sculpture artist, Mr. Quinn leaves behind his wife, two sons, and a stepson. We salute Mr. Quinn, a hero, and name this furry friend in his honor. (Source: victim list, New York City Fire Department)
