ROMEO was named for KRIS ROMEO BISHUNDAT, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Kris Romeo Bishundat, age 23, Waldorf, Maryland, formerly of Guyana, lost his life while working at the Pentagon on the day of terror. An Information Systems Technician Second Class assigned to the Communications Division of the Chief of Naval Operations Center at the Pentagon, Mr. Bishundat had won many awards during his six years with the United States Navy. His former duty assignment was aboard the USS Shreveport. Mr. Bishundat's body was buried at Arlington National Cemetery. Just three days shy of his 24th birthday the day he lost his life, Mr. Bishundat leaves behind his parents, siblings, and girlfriend. He enjoyed surfing, golfing, and tennis. Pet Harbor salutes Mr. Bishundat, a hero, and names this little fellow in his honor. (Source: The Chicago Tribune 9/17/01; The Baltimore Sun 9/14/01)
