RUBEN was named for RUBEN ORNEDO, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Ruben Ornedo, 39, Eagle Rock, California, was a satellite communications engineer for Boeing. Born in the Philippines, he came to the U.S. in elementary school and went on to graduate from UCLA. Mr. Ornedo was on American Airlines Flight 77 on a business trip when he lost his life at the Pentagon on September 11. He leaves behind his newlywed wife, Sheila; and unborn child. We salute Mr. Ornedo, a hero, and name this handsome dog in his honor.
