SAIYA was named for EDWARD SAIYA, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Edward Saiya, age 49, New York, New York, was employed as a communications engineer by Genuity on the 110th floor of the World Trade Center Tower 2, where he lost his life. Mr. Saiya laughed a lot and was romantic and had strong devotion. Mr. Saiya and his three brothers were known as "tough boys," attended Catholic school, and liked their beer. Mr. Saiya is survived by his wife, who suffered from Alzheimer's disease at the time of her husband's demise; and then teen daughter Katherine and preteen son Shawn. We salute Mr. Saiya, a hero, and name this cute puppy in his honor.
