SHIMMY was named for SHIMMY D. BIEGELEISEN, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Mr. Biegeleisen, age 42, New York, New York, was employed as a vice president of Fiduciary Trust International, and worked on the 96th Floor of One World Trade Center, where he lost his life. He was known as a thoughtful and sensitive altruist. Pet Harbor salutes Mr. Biegeleisen, a hero, and names this sweet dog in his honor.
