America's Beloved Heroes

SIMONE was named for MARIANNE SIMONE, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Ms. Simone, 62, Great Kills, Staten Island, New York, was employed as a communications specialist with Cantor Fitzgerald, having worked her way up the corporate ladder to that position. She worked on the 101st Floor of Tower 1 of the World Trade Center. Known for her laughter, her encouragement, and her packed closets, she is the mother of 3 and grandmother of 6. Very much loved and missed, Ms. Simone brought life to parties and kept people’s chins up. Pet Harbor salutes Ms. Simone, a hero, and names this cutie pie in her honor.
