SOTO was named for FABIAN SOTO, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Fabian Soto, age
31, Harrison, New Jersey, was employed as a window cleaner by ABM Industries, where he worked for only three weeks at the
World Trade Center, where he tragically lost his life on September 11, 2001. In his spare time, he danced and played soccer on a Latin team. He believed he would die young. From Ecuador, Mr. Soto came to New York to make a better life for his family when his son was born. His wife followed. The paperwork for their son to come was being processed when Mr. Soto lost his life. Mr. Soto is survived by his wife, Elda; and his 8-year-old son, Juan.
We salute Mr. Soto, a hero, and name this handsome dog in his honor. (Source: Los Angeles Times 9/16/01, The New York Times 3/17/02)
