TANNER was named for MICHAEL ANTHONY TANNER, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Michael Anthony Tanner, age 44, Seacaucus, New Jersey, was employed at the NASDAQ Trading Desk of Cantor Fitzgerald Securities, located in the World Trade Center on the 105th floor. Towering 6'2" and weighing in at 240 pounds, Mr. Tanner was known at Cantor Fitzgerald as Tiny. He was also known for having a heart of gold. Mr. Tanner was a graduate of Cornell University, where he was also a quarterback. Mr. Tanner is survived by his wife, Michele, and two daughters, Sasha and Gianna. We salute Mr. Tanner, a hero, and name this big fellow in his honor.
