TINO was named for JENNIFER TINO, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Jennifer M. Tino, age 29, Livingston, New Jersey, lost her life while at work at the World Trade Center on that fateful day. She was an accountant with Marsh and McLennan. Jennifer, a friend of Anne Hick, a member of the Pet Harbor family, was extremely close to her family, loved her parents and siblings very much and continuously spoke of them. Always there for you with a kind word, touching gift, extremely generous with her time, money, and love, as a devout Catholic, she inspired others. She spent a college semester abroad in London, England. While there, she was an avid jokester with her housemates. A 1994 graduate of Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, Ms. Tino was so persistent in gaining employment after graduation that she submitted 600 job applications. The first job she landed was as an accountant with the United States Navy, during which time she was sent to California and returned with souvenir Mexican blankets. Having forever a goal of passing the C.P.A. examination, Ms. Tino did so in August of 2001. A fan of all sports, she particularly enjoyed golfing and Oakland Raiders football. She had 332 saves as a goalkeeper with her college in 1990-1991. In fact, she was a recliner coach. Ms. Tino had an amazingly warm smile and soulful brown eyes and is dearly missed. Pet Harbor salutes Ms. Tino, a hero, and names this ball of fluff in her honor. (Source: Marymount University, friends)
