TRUDI was named for GERTRUDE M. "TRUDI" ALAGERO, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Trudi Alagero, age 37, spent the night before making wedding and honeymoon plans with her fiance. A senior vice president at Marsh Private Client Services, a division of Marsh & McLennan, Ms. Alagero worked on the 97th floor of Tower One of the World Trade Center. A 1986 graduate of Providence College, she enjoyed exploring new things as she went throughout life. The only daughter and the youngest child in the family, Trudi is survived by her mother, Marie; three brothers; and her fiance, Peter. We salute Ms. Alagero, a hero, and name this doll in her honor.
