America's Beloved Heroes

VIVA was named for PAUL ANDREW ACQUAVIVA, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Paul Acquaviva, age 29, Glen Rock, New Jersey, was employed as vice president of corporate development at eSpeed, a subsidiary of Cantor Fitzgerald. He was in his 103rd floor office in the north tower of the World Trade Center on September 11 when the terrorists struck. Having graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers University, Mr. Acquaviva went on to earn a law degree from Columbia University's School of Law in 1997. Known for his intelligence, he missed only one question on his mathematics SAT test. He was an athlete as well as a scholar and still built sandcastles with his family during a Bahamian vacation the week before September 11. From a close-knit family of Italian descent, Mr. Acquaviva leaves behind his wife Courtney, daughter Sarah, and son Paul. Mr. Acquaviva's son was born three months after the September 11 tragedy. We salute Mr. Acquaviva, a hero, and name this doll in his honor.
