WASHINGTON was named for DERRICK CHRISTOPHER WASHINGTON, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Derrick Washington, age 33, Calverton, New York, employed by Verizon, worked on the 110th floor of the World Trade Center Tower Two. A devoted family man, he is survived by his wife, Kiesha; and sons, Christopher, Devin, and Malik. His hobby was his sons. We salute Mr. Washington, a hero, and name this fuzzy puppy in his honor.
