America's Beloved Heroes

Wooley was named for CAPTAIN DAVID TERENCE WOOLEY, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Captain David Wooley, 53, Nanuet, New York, a firefighter with ladder 4, engine 54 of the Fire Department of New York and business owner/manager of a wallpapering/painting business, lost his life at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Known for his warmth, strength, and bravery, the one thing that stands out in our research is his caring. Family came first to him. Family included his family of firefighters. Captain Wooley is survived by his wife, Linda; children, David and Stacy; and grandson, Justin. We salute Captain Wooley, a hero, and name this handsome dog in his honor.
