America's Beloved Heroes

ZIPPER was named for JULIE LYNNE ZIPPER, who paid the ultimate price in the attack on America September 11, 2001. Julie Zipper, age 44, Paramus, New Jersey, was Product Manager with SunGard Trading Systems/BRASS. She was visiting a customer on September 11 and lost her life in the World Trade Center. Her last phone call to her husband said she was trapped on the 102nd floor. A '79 graduate of State Unviersity of New York, Binghamton University and an '84 (MBA) and '87 (MA) graduate of Hofstra University, Her favorite food salmon, Ms. Zipper was known for her style and being able to converse with everyone at parties. She is survived by her husband, Rick Klein; and two children, a daughter 12 and son 4. We salute Ms. Zipper, a hero, and name this handsome kitty in her honor.
