Christmas 2006

ADOPTION EVENTS
As you can tell, we don't have a lot of time to take photos at events.
Moe
Moe & Kirby
Kelly & Kirby
"The good part about sitting here is those dogs can't get me!" Moe snickers.
"Someday soon we'll get homes & won't have to sit in these cages waiting for someone to love us," Moe says to Kirby.
"You've heard of Tickle Me Elmo? This is Tickle Me Kirby" remarks Kelly.

Amy & Stephen
Franklin & Senko
"Happy birthday to Amy & Amy," Sonja, Darrius, Amy P, Jeff, Amy W, Kelly, and Debbie sing just before they devour the cupcake cheesecakes Debbie made.
Amy W. dreams of warmer days. Stephen seeks warmth behind the cats' blanket.
Senko & Franklin send mental telepathic messages seeking rawhides to PetsMart patrons.

Santa & Franklin

"I smile for the camera. I brushed my teeth today. I don't have puppy breath. Doesn't somebody want to adopt me?" wonders Senko.
"Hey, Santa, can't you open this crate door so I can take off? After all, I just want some exercise. Isn't exercise a good thing?" coerces Franklin.
Franklin speaks in a mesmerizing voice, "Santa, if you come just a bit closer so I can give you a kiss, you'll be putty in my paws."

A smile is worth 1,000 words in this case. It's the smile of a man (Kevin) about to become a father. He's about to adopt his new fur son (Franklin).

Santa & Senko
Russ' Adoption
Fairbanks' Adoption
"Tell me again, Santa, why I can't have 20 pounds of fresh cat meat for Christmas," skeptical Senko requests.
Russ silently laughs to his new family, mom Michelle, dad CJ, sister Mackenzie, and brother Niko, "Boy, are you in for an exciting adventure!"
Fairbanks silently laughs to his new family, mom Dana, sister Alex, and Siberian sister Cheyenne, "Just wait. I'll have all of you twisted around my little paw in no time."
Goodbye, Franklin!
Franklin
Franklin & Dad
Amy W. holds Franklin as Santa explains to Franklin "You must be a good boy if you expect to get a home for Christmas."
Franklin complains, "It makes no sense that Santa uses reindeer. If I were his lead dog, the gifts would get to the children on time!"
Franklin smiles sheepishly as he realizes happy dad Kevin has no clue what is in store for him.
