Cocoa, a chocolate Labradoodle, shares the stage with her human subjects. Cocoa is the niece of one Pet Harbor board member & the cousin of another. Cocoa's dad is the brother of a Pet Harbor board member and the uncle of another. So with that puzzle in mind, who is Cocoa's aunt? Chase, full of smiles, and Sammie know the holidays will be special because their human, Tom, is an everyday spoiler. Christmas can only be big-time spoiling! Sammie is Pet Harbor alumnus Bella. Chase was adopted from a shelter. Duke's last Santa photo. Duke owned the humans who just adopted our Mayra. Duke, a Doberman Pinscher, passed away in September at 12 years of age. He was very happy & spoiled rotten. Mayra can't replace him, but she will get the same treatment.

Baffling though it is, mischevious Pet Harbor alumnus Rasha (formerly Raja) anxiously awaits Santa's arrival. It's baffling because Santa-delivered toys aren't special ones since Rasha turns all things into Toys de Rasha. Simon, Samoyed wise man, bears gifts. Simon is the brother of Pet Harbor alumnus Rasha. As visions of pig's ears danced through their heads, Pet Harbor alumni Reddy Mac (formerly Reddy) and Holly (formerly Holly) get their Christmas photo taken.

Bunny, one of the cute Chihuahua bookend siblings of Pet Harbor alumni Rasha, sends her holiday wishes! Riley, the second of the cute Chihuahua bookend siblings of Pet Harbor alumni Rasha, sends her holiday wishes as well! Showing off his parents, Pet Harbor alumnus Rohn (formerly Kopy) shares the stage with his Lab mix sister Ashley.

Aztec, bird sibling of Pet Harbor alumnus Rasha, struts his stuff for the camera! Unwrapping Christmas toys, Belle, bird sibling of Pet Harbor alumnus Rasha, has a blast. And those of us who have had conversations with our verbose feathered friend are glad she's distracted! Sitting pretty for the camera, the very handsome DinkerDoo (Dink for short), another bird sibling of Pet Harbor alumnus Rasha, shares the stage with his mommy, Jo, to bestow Christmas wishes for all.

The three obedient elf children of Pet Harbor volunteers Amy & Darrius, Chekotah, Cayucos, and Taja, extend their holiday wishes. Feather-donning children of Pet Harbor volunteers Amy & Darrius, Lilly, Stan, and Princess, are perched on the towel rack to greet holiday guests. What a great added touch to holiday entertaining! Patiently awaiting Santa's arrival, Sadie, Shadow, & Rusty lie beneath the Christmas tree. Shadow & Rusty are Pet Harbor alumni Shad & Barrett.

"I'm a good kid. I didn't do it," so innocently proclaims the guilty Buddy as evidence drops from his chin. Buddy is a Beagle who owns friend of Pet Harbor Heidi and family. If he would learn to bake with the flour, instead of just invading it, we would say he's as smart as a Siberian! Pet Harbor alumnus Kiki (formerly Rizza) helps her mom, Tomoko, advertise her business, Organic Doggy Kitchen. Kiki, in true Siberian diva fashion, managed to steal the stage by leaving her Siberian brother Pet Harbor alumnus Koby (formerly Coby) at home. Photo by Shaun van Steyn. For their 2007 Christmas card, Pet Harbor alumnus Cyrus (formerly Russ), his Siberian brother Niko and Cocker Spaniel sister Mackenzie show off their favorite toys, namely CJ & Pet Harbor Board Member & Treasurer Michelle.

"Wish upon a star." Pet Harbor alumnus Kona Snow (formerly Polhe) really has no wish. He already got it: a home! The late Dakota, who owned Pet Harbor volunteer Laurie, waits for Santa to come and issue a command so he can help mush Christmas gifts to all the children of the world. Smiling pretty for the camera, the very handsome bookends Shadow and George, friends of Pet Harbor, have a telepathic conversation about how they can outsmart their humans and grab some steaks for the fireplace.

Pet Harbor alumnus Polo and his happy parents sent us this awesome 2007 Christmas ornament. The quality of the photo has to do with the photographer's lack of skills, not the ornament itself. We've never seen anything like this and are just tickled pink (or red & white, as it were)! Pet Harbor alumnus Coakley, whose dad is now our eBay Coordinator, sent this really creative card this year. Of course, we expected no less as Coakley is a really creative chap! Dexter, Pet Harbor alum Caroline, Pet Harbor alum Traveler Joe, and Angel strategize opening gifts before their parents awake! That way they can open everybody's gifts!

We were lucky enough to get a holiday visit from Pet Harbor alumnus Franklin. Adopted just over a year ago, Franklin is so happy & healthy & adores his dad. The feeling is mutual, but Franklin has him right where he wants him. Franklin enjoyed playing with LeBlanc, but when it was over, he was so afraid he was going to get left in foster care he ushered his dad to the door. "What I really want for Christmas, Santa, is a pet squirrel. Alas, Mom and Dad said I could never have one, at least not for long. Alternatively, how about lots of toys for Christmas?" UPDATE: Shea got her wish!
