Target in Dumfries donates food to Pet Harbor (We love you, Target!). Pet Harbor board member Debbie practices mushing with the cart full of donated food. "You're getting sleepy, Santa!" Max, friend of Pet Harbor, says as he hypnotizes Santa with his charming and adorable Siberian ways. Santa Debbie shares the stage with elves Matt, Alycia, Kristy, Crystal, and Winuk. Winuk is available for adoption. The others already have homes.

Santa Matt gathers Christmas wishes from elves Alycia, Kristy, Debbie, and the sleeping Crystal. Winuk is trying to hypnotize the water bottle to turn into snow! Percheron, Great Pyrenees who owns Pet Harbor's president, says, "I'm dreaming of a white dog Christmas." He shares the camera with Santa Debbie and his older sister Pet Harbor board member Brandi. "Come one! Come all!" Elf Sonja solicits business for our Santa with pets photo shoot at PetsMart. Of course, Grant (available for adoption) thinks she, instead, is bringing him chewable gifts!

"Santa, can I please go over there? That cat needs me!" Mayra (available for adoption) schemes. The very handsome Coakley, Pet Harbor alumnus, gives Santa a really big smile to say he, Coakley, got the greatest gift in the world in 2006 - a home & fantastic family - and that for 2007, all he wants is a Siberian brother or sister! Pet Harbor alumni Gryffin & Phoenix (formerly Griffin & Chip) visit Santa Jasmine with their parents Jennifer & Jason. Gryffin tells Santa his Christmas wish is to be the Big Dog again. Phoenix came into their home as a puppy & grew bigger than Gryffin. Phoenix doesn't want a Christmas gift because he already has everything he wanted. He enjoys being the Big Dog!

Siberians who own Pet Harbor volunteer Laurie tell Santa Jasmine their Christmas wishes. Those who know Fire know Fire didn't really have a wish. He just wanted to talk & talk & talk. Sarge's wish was food, anything other than the weight loss formula he's currently eating! Tobin Xio, pet of Pet Harbor board member Brandi, looks in Santa Jasmine's beard for some Christmas mice. Santa Jasmine enjoys posing with harmonious customers: a snowman-decorated Siberian and 2 amazing birds. Everybody was in such awe we have no idea what their Christmas wishes were!

This time the board members tell Santa their collective wish is warmth & happiness for our phenomenal volunteers! This is where all the Christmas wish confessions get buried until Santa takes them to the North Pole.

Santa awaits the next victim . . . er, customer. Santa Jasmine showing off her figure. Elf Debbie learns how sharp puppy claws are. The puppy, Sesi, of course, laughs because after the claws, she plans to chew on Debbie! Don't you love Debbie's elf attire? She always dresses the part!

Elf Brandi confesses her Christmas wishes to Santa. Always playful, Santa takes a break to play pattycake with elf Amy. Please note that elf Jeff is not in any of the photos for 12/15 because he took all the photos. Elf Amy gets Sesi kisses.

"My Christmas wish is no grooming in 2008. How 'bout it, Santa?" says the adorable wisher. This spotted baby, cute as a button, wants a bright red fire hydrant for Christmas, whether it puts out fires or not. Santa convinced this Beagle a good Christmas wish would be a juicy bone, as opposed to the requested one of removing the, oh, so cute sleigh bell necklace.

"For Christmas," the Great Dane revealed to Santa, "I would like a bigger food dish." Pet Harbor alumnus Rasha (formerly Raja) shares the stage with her dad, Doug, as she tells Santa it really makes no difference what he brings her because she will claim everybody's gifts as her own anyway. "You're getting sleepy," Rasha slowly chants, as she hypnotizes elf Amy. "Your sole mission in life is to help Rasha plan her next mischievous deed."

"Ha, ha, ha," the Poodle laughs. "Santa, they think they're going to leave me presents. Wait until they see the little presents I will leave them!" The very beautiful senior Poodle patiently awaits her turn on Santa's lap. A little munchkin, all decked out for the holidays, makes you just want to squeeze! Hmmmm. I wonder if the dog is named Charmin.

"Hey, Santa, I can run faster than reindeer," the handsome Greyhound proclaims! "How about I help deliver gifts?" "Santa, you can pick the other Greyhound to help," the brindle Greyhound jumps in, "but I should be Rudolph!" "Cats rule and dogs drool," Dandelion declares. "But my Christmas wish is for a healthy 2008 because in 2007, I had teeth extracted, and a broken mandible, and a stroke."

"Christmas trees! That's what I want! A whole house full of them" Forrest Gump says with a sheepish grin, adding, "and worthy competition in the marking contest." "I want squeaky toys, socks, chewy trash, and a soft bed for Christmas," little Nevada tells Santa. "Ha ha ha," says Sesi, Nevada's sister, "I want the same things Nevada wants! So make it a double, please."
